Painting and drawing of still-life objects came to me instinctively during my early days in Iran. My Khayyam-like view of the world inspired my artistic growth through Classic, Impressionism, Surrealism and mixed media into abstraction.
Artistic creation, can be ignited by looking at the works of great painters like Egon Schiele, Goya, Cezanne and Jose Clemente, or from an art lover's comment. But sometimes, I just have to dip the brush start drawing on a white canvas, letting the creativity flow from within.
My paintings can be mixed with universal uncertainties. Why are we born; what is the reason for our existence in this world; and, if death is the end, why do we conform to the worldly principles? Abstract art allows me to amplify my imagination and feelings, but also allows my work to be more open to viewer interpretation with its dynamism and freshness.
The world is a question mark to me and I try to illustrate it through painting. I invite you to explore the world with me.
