Mixed Media

I am committed to the discovery and application of natural and discarded materials into integrated expressions of my life as an artist. I hope to increase the visual awareness of beauty found in everyday life as an artist. Leaves in a puddle, shadows on the sidewalk, old walls, shredded papers in a dumpster all inspire me with new ideas. Pursuing these ideas creates paths to new concepts and images. My hope is that my work will encourage others to examine their surroundings and see the beauty there.
